THAKHEK,  LAOS, 2017 – 2018

Assessment of development potential of heritage assets in Thakhek (Laos) and Kampong Cham (Cambodia) as a tool for economic development and promotion of city competitiveness. Activities included analysis of historical significance and outstanding values of urban heritage assets; business case for adaptive re-use and/or upgrading of publicly owned heritage properties; and investment plan for heritage led upgrading of old town and construction of a waterfront promenade.
