- Role: Urban Renewal and Heritage Conservation Specialist
- Project: Assessment of development potential of heritage assets in Thakhek (Laos) and Kampong Cham (Cambodia) as a tool for economic development and promotion of city competitiveness
- Result: Analysis of historical significance and outstanding values of urban heritage assets – Business case for adaptive re-use and/or upgrading of publicly owned heritage properties – Investment plan for heritage led upgrading of old town and construction of a waterfront promenade

INVESTMENT FUND FOR HISTORIC UPGRADING
Yangon, Myanmar, 2017

- Role: Member Advisory Board
- Project: Assist in setting up social enterprise aimed at heritage conservation and urban renewal in Yangon through a resident targeted approach for renovating residential properties
- Result: US$ 2 million social investment fund set up – 15 renovated historic properties – 6 upgraded historic streetscapes

URBAN REGENERATION PRE-FEASIBILITY STUDY
Yangon, Myanmar, 2016
- Client: Cities Development Initiative for Asia / Asian Development Bank
- Partners: Yangon City Development Committee / Yangon Heritage Trust
- Role: Team Leader / Heritage Economics Expert
- Project: Pre-feasibility study on potential tools and instruments to unlock private and public investment in renovation of properties and public space in three pilot areas in downtown Yangon
- Result: Investment program for a comprehensive area based and heritage-led regeneration of the three identified pilot areas including assessment of the potential social, economic and environmental impact of the regeneration initiative and recommendations on safeguard measures

PPP FOR URBAN REGENERATION
Tbilisi, Georgia, 2013
- Client: Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia
- Partner: Tiflis Hamkari
- Role: Strategic Advisor Heritage Economics
- Project: Assistance to Ministry of Culture and Tiflis Hamkari to re-establish the dialogue with other government agencies to assess the potential of a special purpose vehicle for investment in the city’s historic core
- Result: Start of collaborative effort between Ministry of Culture and Economics to renew legal framework and set up a PPP for heritage renovation
