- Project: 5-month trajectory to assist the newly established Kalaw Tourism Organisation (KTO) in Myanmar’s Shan State to put together a set of guidelines articulating the need to treasure and preserve the unique qualities of the town
- Result: Kalaw Style – guidelines to preserve Kalaw’s uniqueness as Myanmar’s premier resort destination

- Project: Heritage economics expert in a 2-week action planning workshop to create technical, social cultural and heritage profiles of four specific neighbourhoods in Yangon and share results with key stakeholders
- Result: Heritage action plan for four neighbourhoods in Yangon historic core: Chinatown, Indian Quarter, Thompson Quarter and Secretariat

- Project: 6-month capacity building trajectory to determine a roadmap for UNESCO accredited heritage management plan
- Result: Heritage management plan for the historic centre of Hue, a requirement for Hue to stay on the UNESCO world heritage list

Action Planning for Heritage Cities
Sumatra, Indonesia, 2004 – 2006
- Client: Royal Netherlands Embassy through Urban Solutions
- Partner: Badan Warisan Sumatra
- Role: Heritage Economics Expert / Facilitator
- Project: Capacity building programme for heritage societies in Sumatra. Three one-week workshops and continuous technical assistance to assist development of action plans
- Results: 10 heritage action plans for 10 cities in Sumatra, of which two have been executed: community heritage awareness campaign in Aceh and prevention of demolition of historic structure in Medan
