UNESCO LISTING TRAINING KOTA PUSAKA INDONESIA

Trainer / facilitator of a tailored one-week training for local government representatives of 10 Kota Pusaka (heritage cities) in Indonesia (Jakarta Kota Tua, Sawalunto, Semarang Kota Lama, Kota Denpasar, Banjarmasin, Ampenan Kota, Pangkalpinang) with the aim to familiarise them with heritage management requirements for World Heritage Listing. Activities included: Analysis of UNESCO listing criteria and methodology, comparative study of other SE Asian listed historic town centres and assessment of potential justification of the Outstanding Universal Values heritage value in the respective cities.
